In My Mailbox (Nov. 13th, 2011)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren (inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie) and indulges bookish voyeurism by letting bloggers show off what books they've gotten in their mailbox.

I got some lovely lovely books this week - but I am actually still waiting for a few (one of which I am very excited about, but I'll share that for another time!).

Bought:
  • Innocent Mage by Karen Miller - I know nothing at all about Karen's books, but I know she is supposed to be a great author. I am looking forward to trying her out.
  • Mind Games by Carolyn Crane - This blogger-turned-author has been on my wishlist for ages. Can't wait to start this one!
  • The Neon Court by Kate Griffin
  • Divergent by Veronica Roth - I know, finally!
  • Seven Rays by Jessica Bendinger - I remember there being a lot of hype about this when it came out...
  • The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
  • Poison Diaries: Nightshade by Maryrose Wood

For Review:
In short, a great week. I'd say the books I am most looking forward to reading are My Soul to Steal, Divergent and Mind Games.

  1. I adore Kate Griffin's books - she just brings London to life complete with magic and weridness! Karen Miller is a good fantasy writer as well - I enjoyed the Innocent Mage a lot.

Great haul this week - loads of books I need to read as well...Mind Games, Divergent, The Name of the star....

  3. Oooh I think I want them all! Haha. I almost grabbed a Karen Miller book in The Works the other week but it was book two so I grabbed a Rachel Caine instead. She sounds fantastic though. :)
