In My Mailbox (Jan. 24th, 2010)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren ( inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie) and explores the content of your mailbox.  Or bookbox as they should now be called!



Only three books this week - but all ones I have been lusting over for a while!
  • 1000 Places to see before you die by Patricia Schultz
  • Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
  • Fallen by Lauren Kate
I had planned on getting Fallen in hardcover, but needed a third book for my 3 for 2!  But the binding is excellent for a paperback - which I usually find is the case for UK paperbacks.  And 1000 places(...) is brilliant - although it is heavily slanted toward Europe and the US.  It also chooses some places that are laughably touristy (ie. best place to go in the Dominican Republic is a hotel... WTF?)  But still a great book if you don't take it as gospel!

    I have just finished reading Fallen and I LOVED it! Ink Exchange looks pretty interesting!

    Ink Exchange and Fallen are both amazing. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did. And don't you just love 3 for 2?! :)
